A Story of Inspiration
COMING IN THE MAY ISSUE... As a young man in 1953, Huey P. Howard made his way from Leland, Mississippi to Southwest Florida to earn more than the $1 a day he was paid back home. Rumor had it one could earn as much $5 per day here and that sounded pretty good to him. Forty-five years later, Mr. Howard and his family raise over 600 head of cattle on 1500 acres in Hendry County.
FIELD AND GROVE MAGAZINE is going to bring this story of hard work and perseverance in Southwest Florida to our readers in a mixed media format. Part of the story will be told with the written word and the rest will be accessible through a video feed with just the click of the mouse. Look for this segment in our May issue.
